Certificate Award Ceremony for Young People Trained in Tailoring by the Charles Nkazamyampi Foundation
On Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in Mpanda commune, Bubanza province, the Charles Nkazamyampi Foundation organized a certificate award ceremony for young members of the AJA Association, graduates of the vocational training center in tailoring.
After six months of intensive training, these young people have acquired essential skills in tailoring and garment making, enabling them to develop income-generating activities and strengthen their economic independence. This initiative by the Foundation aligns with its mission to support Burundian youth in their professional integration and empowerment through practical training.
During the ceremony, several speakers took the floor, including representatives of the Foundation, trainers, and the beneficiaries themselves. Nibitanga Lionel, one of the graduates, expressed his deep gratitude to the Charles Nkazamyampi Foundation for this initiative, which provides him with a valuable opportunity to enter the job market.
The Foundation thus reaffirms its commitment to supporting young people by offering training programs tailored to market needs, thereby contributing to Burundi’s socio-economic development.
