Formation en Entrepreneuriat Agropastoral







From 19 to 20 November 2025, the Charles Nkazamyampi Foundation (FCN), in partnership with Kickoff to Hope and with financial support from the Parliament and the State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg, organized a training session in Butanyerera, Matongo commune, Banga zone, for young beneficiaries of the project “Sport as an Essential Tool for Strengthening Peace, Social Cohesion, and Inclusive Development.”
The Head of the Matongo zone honored the session with his presence, expressing his full support for the initiative. He praised the FCN’s commitment to empowering young people and encouraged them to apply the skills acquired in order to contribute to the economic development of their community.
The training focused mainly on agricultural entrepreneurship, with particular emphasis on:
- Onion seed production:
.The young participants learned techniques for producing high-quality seeds, good cultivation practices, disease prevention, and plot maintenance. The trainer highlighted the economic value of this sector, noting that onion farming is a highly profitable activity capable of generating sustainable income.
- Rabbit farming:

Participants were also introduced to rabbit-raising techniques, including reproduction, feeding, hutch hygiene, and health management. The trainer explained that rabbit farming is an accessible activity with a low start-up cost and offers quick returns for young entrepreneurs.

This initiative aligns with the project’s broader vision to equip young people with practical skills, strengthen their economic autonomy, and encourage their active participation in the development of their communities.
